UDINE
When we arrived in Udine we had some really serious problems to find the club. The area didn’t seem to be very full of life and we found ourselves in a district full of warehouses and wholesales. But then the club turned out to be behind a fish market, between car stores and stockrooms, somewhere far behind. That kind of place that looks suspicious from the first moment on. But it turned out to be a pretty nice club named “no fun” which appeared to be a very good name for it, if you now what happened next.
After soundcheck we were taken to dinner by car through some dark fields and woods to a small resturant run by a family of the owner. Jonas was joking about the Mafia and how they might be planning to kidnap us during that trip. We laughed. But we made it safe to the resturant and everyone was incredibly nice as always. Dinner was incredibly great and we had some good wine. Then we got to know that the club was run by a guy which was arrested today due to some serious drug buissines. The guy who was setting up this evening just read about it in the news. What? What the hell?
Even though we were a little scared, the concert turned out to be pretty nice, without anymore mafia business or police. Whoohoo.
PISA
Pisa was great. Best concert so far. Incredibly nice city. Nice audience. What else is there to say? Maybe only that it was scary to see again how much influence the church used to have and still got when we were visiting the leaning tower of pisa. Man, that is something.
